Okay! Here it is. I'm getting kinda tired of clean vector work, plus I really liked my drawing so I tried to rework it back into the vector stuff. Hope you guys dig it!

OK, so I'm a little late. Forgive the roughness of the piece. I am at home using the mac which I hardly design on anymore. I'm on a PC 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. :( And my title isn't as clever as the others. AAAAND I just lost an hour out of my day thanks to daylight savings :(.

CMYKupid Challenge Complete...

Great job everyone...little bit of a slim turnout for this challenge but the submissions we got were still fantastic! Again everyone surprised the heck out of me with the direction they took their artwork. Looks like Sara and myself still have a little work to do...

I hope with the addition of a few extra days and all that Valentines Day mush out of the way we can get a larger participation for March.

Okay...ha ha ha ha...this isn't my final entry but I did this just for kicks. This is how I truly envision the mascot of love.

cupid is a baby with it's butt showing. and since i wasn't feeling the butt-babies this month, this entry is a collaboratively morphed, but lovingly handled, symbol of mine and chris (hajny)'s affection.



true love.... true zombie love - that is what symbolizes my love for chris h. and vice versa (i'm sure).

we're in the process of making some wedding plans and thought this was a fitting way to unite our stuff .... (it started out as our save the date and snowballed into something else!)

i drew the faces and inked them and chris added the zombie hair.texture.faces.linework combination!

So I did a real quick drawing of a cupid and then separated the colors so as to comply with this month's rules.

It's probably not really the intent of the challenge, but it does satisfy the rules, and I got it in before March 1st too. WHAT.

Alright, it's CMYKupid CMYKitten time!

Well, truth be told, these kittens have been visited by Cupid, leaving them with sinful desires, which equals cute baby kittens!


that would be inhumane if it weren't so gosh darn cute!

February's Super Awesome Art Challenge is...

Being that February is the month of Valentines I thought I would throw out the challenge to illustrate every ones favorite diaper clad holiday mascot. Here's the challenge, it has to be done using (as close as possible) CMYK. That's Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (and white of course). Try as close as you can to stick to these four colors. You can use transparency percentages of the colors but no mixing. All right. The challenge is set. Let's see us some four color process flying babies with weapons of love.
